In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the CBS Diversity and Inclusion Council, CBS RAD and CBS Women’s Networking Group, our multicultural and women’s employee resource groups, hosted “A Conversation with Rosie Rios” in New York, Studio 19. ?The conversation, which was moderated by Josie Thomas, EVP, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, CBS Corporation and Chair of the CBS Diversity and Inclusion Council, allowed for Rios to discuss her time as the 43rd Treasurer of the United States and the longest serving treasury official. She also discussed going back to her alma mater, Harvard University, as a visiting scholar, studying millennials and post millennials, and being the first Latina to have her portrait unveiled there.?The Teachers Righting History Project,?Notable Women?and the power of negotiation were some other topics discussed.
